Henry
Horton as seen on Inside Tennessee Golf (WMV
format)
The golf course is an 18-hole championship par 72 course.
Rental clubs are available at the pro-shop.
The Buford Ellington championship golf
course at Henry Horton State Park is one of
the finest courses in the state of
Tennessee. The course measures 5,625 yards
from the Forward tees and 7,020 yards from
the Championship tees. This challenging
course is heavily treed with hardwoods and
contains 37 bunkers. Although the length may
scare some golfers away, the fairways are
generous in width and the greens larger than
average. There are three sets of tees to
accommodate every skill level and a friendly
staff waiting to insure an enjoyable round
of golf.
Two holes of distinction are #10 and #14.
The Signature and number one handicap hole,
#10 is a par 4, 461-yard uphill dogleg left
with the green guarded by a bunker on the
right. Number 14 is a 259-yard par 3, one of
the longest par threes in Tennessee.
